I have enjoyed seeing this little girl every couple of months over the last year! She came to me for her newborn session and she came to see me at 3 months, 6 months and 9 months. Of course, she also came to commemorate her 1 year birthday on her actual birthday which was so awesome. Not every one year old session needs to include a cake smashing, but this mom wanted to have a cake smashing. Normally that is not a problem; however, this little girl has some food allergies so the trick was to just let her play with it, and not eat it. It was all good!
Welcome to Pictures by Whitney! My name is Whitney Marzullo. I am a custom newborn & family photographer based in Southern York County, Pennsylvania. I love everything photography, but my passions are newborns & families. I love photographing families & watching them grow. I believe that you don't need to have a special occasion to have a session, because every day is a good day to capture a smile!
This picture was actually from a one year old session last year. It is one of my favorites from last year. Even though it isn’t actually a Valentine’s Day picture . . . it reminds me of puppy love. A girl and her puppies. Happy Valentine’s Day!
This little man is such a cutie! I know that you can’t tell from these pictures, but he made me work for it. Toddlers can be challenging, but a few of their favorite things and some cookie encouragement and balloons will win them over for at few minutes of cooperation to turn the terrible twos into the terrific twos even if it is just for a handful of moments!
Such a sweet little girl! I love photographing her. In 6 months, I have photographer her in the hospital, for a newborn session (twice), for Christmas, and now to document her 6 month milestone. Each time is more and more enjoyable. I love the picture of the bunny because her daddy gave it to her mommy when they were dating! It is that personal little touch.
A Dr. Seuss Inspired Newborn Session | Southern York County Pennsylvania Newborn & Family Photographer
I first met this couple when I did their maternity session in the middle of December. I love doing maternity sessions or in-person consultation prior to a newborn session because it gives me the chance to get to know the couple. So, a couple weeks after their session, I get an email to say their little girl was born early! She wasn’t due until February 14 (Valentine’s Day!) They had told me that they decorated the nursery in a Dr. Seuss theme, and they loved Dr. Seuss. So, that was my inspiration and they were on board with it. A turquoise and red color palette isn’t typical for a newborn baby girl, but I love it. And, even though she was 3 weeks old when she came to see me, she slept the entire time. I love it when it all comes together.
This was my first cake smashing for 2015 and the winner of a free session from my 12 Days of Christmas! He was not totally in love with the cake experience (although you wouldn’t know if from these pictures) but he was totally cute. And, his big sister was pretty darn cute, too.
Simplicity in Black & White Newborn Session | Southern York County Pennsylvania Newborn & Family Photographer
I am a huge fan of black and white photography. I don’t often do black and white with my newborn girls, but there was something so soft and sweet and pretty with the black and white pictures in this session. So this time, I decided to show you my favorite black and white pictures that I love (well, there were more but these are a few). I love the sibling pictures in black and white. He was one proud big brother!
I was so lucky to photograph this little girl as my first newborn in 2014. It is so hard to believe that she is already one! She was one serious little girl, but we were able to get a few smiles out of her. Even though I love a good cake smashing to celebrate the first birthday, this is a great example of how you don’t need to do a cake smashing. I love the pink and gray combination, and the purple is so gorgeous on her darker complexion.
In addition to regular sessions, I’ve been shooting some Valentine mini-sessions last week. How adorable is this brother and sister duo!?!
This was my first newborn for 2015! Isn’t he adorable? I feel so lucky to have had the honor to photograph four of his cousins as newborns, too. I am hoping that one day, I’ll have the chance to photograph all these cousins together! I hope everyone is having a great start to their new year!
